Monstera Mint
🪴 Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the variegated sections. Too little light may cause the mint tones to fade.
💧 Water:
Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Water when the top inch feels dry. Overwatering can cause root rot, especially in cooler seasons.
🌡️ Temperature & Humidity:
Prefers warm, stable temperatures between 20–28°C (68–82°F). Loves high humidity (60–80%) — consider a humidifier or pebble tray for optimal growth.
🌿 Soil:
Use a well-draining mix (aroid mix with perlite, orchid bark, and a bit of moss). Proper aeration helps prevent root issues.
🍃 Fertilizer:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Pause during winter.
🪴 Growth Tips:
- Rotate regularly for even light exposure.
- Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust.
- If grown from tissue culture, expect new growth to harden and stabilize in coloration over time.
