Anthurium Papi × King of Spades
🌿 Anthurium Papi × King of Spades | Rare Anthurium Hybrid for Sale in Canada
The Anthurium Papi × King of Spades is a collector hybrid crossing Papi with King of Spades, one of the most sought-after dark-leaved Anthuriums. It is grown for its dark, heart-shaped foliage and contrasting pale veins.
The plant shown is a young specimen with several heart-shaped leaves: the largest is deep green with bold silvery-pale veins, and a new leaf is emerging in a rich burgundy-red on a red stem. Some older leaves show yellowing toward their edges. A striking piece for a shelf, a plant cabinet or a rare Anthurium collection.

☀️ Care Guide
- Light: bright, indirect light. Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
- Watering: water when the top few centimetres of substrate start to dry, then let excess water drain. Anthuriums dislike soggy roots.
- Humidity: 60% or more, with gentle air circulation to keep leaves healthy.
- Temperature: 18°C to 28°C (65°F to 82°F). Keep away from cold drafts, cold windows in winter and sudden temperature drops.
- Substrate: a chunky, airy, fast-draining aroid mix that lets the roots breathe.
- Adjustment: after arrival, keep the plant in stable, gentle conditions and avoid repotting or major changes for the first couple of weeks.
- Feeding: a diluted, balanced fertilizer during active growth; reduce in winter when growth slows.

🌿 Important Live Plant Information
Every plant is unique. Once your plant is home, how its new leaves develop, including their size, colour and texture, will depend on the environment you give it: light, humidity, temperature and care. Like all live plants, it can react to transport and to a new environment. Healthy roots, firm stems and active new growth are the best signs of a thriving plant.
