☀️ Care Guide

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct afternoon sun, as pink sections are more sensitive to burning. Good light helps maintain vibrant variegation.

Substrate: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix (bark, perlite, coco coir and a bit of peat or organic soil).

Watering: Water when the top 2 to 3 cm of soil is dry. Keep slightly moist but never soggy, as Alocasias are prone to root rot.

Humidity: 60% or higher is ideal. A humidifier or greenhouse cabinet will help produce larger, healthier leaves.

Temperature: 18 to 29°C (65 to 85°F). Keep above 15°C (59°F) and away from cold drafts.

Fertilization: Diluted balanced fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce in fall and winter.

Note: It is normal for an Alocasia to lose an older leaf when pushing out a new one. Occasional yellowing of the oldest leaf is part of its natural growth cycle. Frequent yellowing may point to overwatering or cold temperatures.
