☀️ Care Guide
Light: Bright, indirect light. Variegated sections are sensitive and can burn in direct sun.
Substrate: Chunky, airy aroid mix (bark, perlite, coco coir and a bit of sphagnum moss) for excellent drainage.
Watering: Water when the top 2 to 3 cm of soil is dry. Keep slightly moist but never soggy, as Alocasias are prone to root rot.
Humidity: 60% or higher is ideal. A humidifier, pebble tray or plant cabinet will help keep leaves healthy.
Temperature: 18°C to 28°C (64°F to 82°F). Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
Fertilization: Feed with a diluted balanced fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce in fall and winter.
Note: Alocasias naturally drop older leaves as new ones grow. Occasional yellowing is normal, especially after shipping or during winter rest. As long as the corm and roots are healthy, new growth will follow.
