☀️ Care Guide

The Alocasia Dragon Scale Aurea thrives when provided with:

Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun, as variegated sections are more sensitive to burning. A chunky, well-draining aroid substrate. Water when the top layer of soil begins to dry while avoiding waterlogged conditions. High humidity (60 to 80% preferred). Warm temperatures between 18°C and 28°C (65°F to 82°F). Regular fertilization throughout the active growing season.

Like most Alocasias, an older leaf may yellow as the plant produces new growth. Aurea variegation is naturally unique and may vary in colour, intensity, and pattern as new leaves emerge. Variegation on future growth cannot be guaranteed. Healthy roots, corms, and the growth point remain the best indicators of a thriving plant.
