☀️ Care Guide

Light: Bright, indirect light. Variegated leaves need a little more light to stay vibrant, but avoid direct sun, which can burn the pink sections.
Substrate: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite and a bit of coco coir or sphagnum moss.
Watering: Water when the top 2 to 3 cm of soil is dry. Never let it sit in water, as Alocasias are prone to root rot.
Humidity: 60% or higher for best results. A humidifier or cabinet setup works beautifully.
Temperature: 18°C to 27°C (65°F to 80°F). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
Fertilization: Diluted balanced fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks during the growing season, reduce in winter.
Note: It's normal for an older leaf to yellow when a new one emerges. Alocasias can also slow down or drop leaves in winter or after a change of environment, so be patient, it will bounce back.
