💧 Water

Keep the substrate lightly moist while allowing the upper portion to dry slightly between waterings.

Never allow the roots to sit in standing water, as Alocasias are sensitive to excess moisture.

💦 Humidity

Thrives in 65–80% humidity.

Higher humidity promotes stronger growth, healthier foliage, and proper leaf development. Good airflow is also essential.

🌡 Temperature

Maintain temperatures between 20°C and 28°C (68–82°F).

Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 18°C (64°F).

🌿 Substrate

Use a light, chunky, well-draining aroid mix containing orchid bark, perlite, coco chips, and horticultural charcoal.

The plant also performs very well in semi-hydroponic systems such as Pon when properly acclimated.

🪴 Fertilizer

Feed every 2–4 weeks during active growth using a balanced fertilizer at half strength.

Reduce fertilization during the winter months or whenever growth naturally slows.
