Alocasia Regal Shield Variegated Albo is a breathtaking rare cultivar featuring dramatic shield-shaped leaves accented with bright golden variegation. Its large leaves and upright growth give it a majestic, statement-plant presence.
Bright, indirect light is essential to preserve and enhance the golden variegation. Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. High humidity (60–80%) is preferred for healthy growth. The ideal temperature range is 20–28°C, with protection from drafts or sudden temperature changes. Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix such as perlite, bark, and coco coir to prevent root rot. Feed monthly during the growing season with a diluted balanced fertilizer. Rotate the plant regularly for even growth, remove older leaves as new ones appear, and increase indirect light if the variegation becomes less visible.
