Alocasia Heterophylla Metallic Blue Aurea Variegated — 3 Leaves, Specimen #0333

Alocasia Heterophylla Metallic Blue Aurea Variegated is an exceptionally rare collector plant prized for its striking metallic blue foliage and vibrant aurea variegation. The thick, architectural leaves display a unique silvery-blue sheen that can appear almost metallic under the right lighting, while the bright yellow and lime variegation creates a stunning contrast that makes every leaf unique. As the plant matures, its foliage becomes even more impressive, developing stronger coloration and a bold tropical presence.

The plant in this listing (SKU 0333) shows three leaves with soft, misty light-green marbling.

Note: this specimen has one damaged leaf, which is why it is offered at a reduced price, but a new leaf is already on the way.

This rare Alocasia thrives in bright indirect light, which helps maintain strong growth and vibrant variegation. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as it may damage the foliage. Water when the top portion of the substrate begins to dry, ensuring the growing medium remains airy and well-draining. A chunky aroid mix containing ingredients such as bark, perlite, pumice, and coco chips is ideal. Like most Alocasias, it appreciates elevated humidity and warm temperatures for optimal growth.

Highly sought after by rare plant collectors, Alocasia Heterophylla Metallic Blue Aurea Variegated combines extraordinary coloration, metallic foliage, and unique variegation, making it a standout addition to any premium tropical plant collection.

All plants are unique and may vary in size, shape, coloration, variegation pattern, and maturity. Variegation levels and growth characteristics cannot be guaranteed and may change over time as the plant continues to mature and adapt to its growing environment.
